The Obama Administration has mandated that all health insurance plans must cover “women’s health services” including contraception, sterilization, and abortion-causing medications as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Up to this time, Franciscan University has specifically excluded these services and products from its student health insurance policy, and we will not participate in a plan that requires us to violate the consistent teachings of the Catholic Church on the sacredness of human life.

The quote above represents the reaction of one, small Catholic university to the DHS mandate that all health insurance plans pay for abortificants. Franciscan University of Stuebanville, boasts about 2,500 students. They don’t have Touchdown Jesus, but they did take 3rd Place in National Small College Rugby Organization Tournament. Such a small event would probably lead Mein Obama to scoff “How many divisions does the Pope of Rome have?”

The President has already eaten his negative press on this and deflected it by accusing Mitt Romney of marshalling the forces of iniquity in a war on women. Barack Obama has led recent college graduates to levels of unemployment that have caused periphery countries in the Eurozone to suffer economic collapse and require national bail-outs. He has been utterly oblivious to the fact that his policies have failed them like nobody else in America. If Georgetown or Notre Dame were to drop student Health Coverage, President Obama would only use this as an excuse to further demean the beliefs and values of religious Americans.

10) Find a rice patty. The fertilizer will help out a struggling farmer and the nearby water source makes clean-up more convenient.

9) Trust in Depends™. Senator McCain has for years.

8 ) Imodium AD™. For the sake of the children.

7) Carry Greek sovereign debt certificates. This looks more dignified than lugging a roll of Charmin™ in public.

6) Ask Dan Savage to recommend his favorite, heavy-duty butt plug.

5) Have the EPA declare the fallout zone a brown field and tax Stephen King more to subsidize the clean-up.

4) Feed it to an OWS encampment and tell them it’s Burritos Picante.

3) Visit the LAPD lost and found. All sorts of weird crap gets turned in there.

2) Tell anyone who finds the smell offensive that it’s the next Maroon 5 CD.

If anyone out there still needed a primer on why a Government-Centered Society was doomed to ineluctable failure, Hugo Chavez is conducting a seminar in ineptitude out of Caracas. Hugo Chavez has decided to devalue his currency in order to flood the Venezuelan State-Run oil company with revenue. He would then “tax” these revenues in order to fund his social welfare apparatus which has fueled his political viability.

Looking only at the revenue side of the equation makes this plan look like a winner. The oil company gets more cash, Chavez gets more revenue. However, the cash is held in the form of a deliberately devalued currency. By definition, each individual unit must buy less in goods and services. Except that Hugo Chavez doesn’t like that definition. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. He doesn’t like the price of a hyper-inflated lunch.

The North Carolina Democratic Party State Chairman David Parker has encountered a passel of trouble. It seems his Executive Director-cum-Hatchet-Man Jay Parmley was caught homosexually harassing an employee and responded by firing the individual in question. He then attempted to conceal the sordid and predatory turn of events by bribing this individual into signing a non-disclosure form. The rank-and-file Democrats are disgusted and have become unseemly in their uppity misrule. They have decided that Parmley’s resignation was inadequate to solving their party’s problems and have demanded that Parker be fired.

Rather than letting his political career die with a quantum of dignity, Parmley wrote a resignation letter and thereby helped author a cornucopia of NC GOP campaign material for any enterprising conservatives who feel like cutting YouTube Adds on behalf of their side.
