This would be from Obama's *second* press [conference] on this topic. [Comments enabled]

Being the one that he had to put together in order to "clarify" his first one.

Well, they say that three's the charm.

BO seriously needs to take three months off from campaigning to find himself. The he needs to spend another three months clarifying which of his policy positions he wants to embrace and which of his contradictory positions he wants to ban to the undercarriage of his bus. Wait, that puts him into December . . . oops, too late!

...but I can't remember Peanut having to schedule press conferences to unexplain his press conferences.

Call it a toss-up, with BO gaining a slight edge because he has yet to wear a Mister Rogers sweater.

So he will "average" 1-2 brigades a month, such that he intends that all "combat" troops will be out by the end of 16 months. But of course, that may allow "peacekeeping forces" or "advisors" to stay longer, I suppose, especially if the Iraqi government invites him to. Plus, using the word "intention" leaves him with the wiggle room to change his mind, depending on the facts on the ground.

Don't see much difference between Obama and GBW at this point in specifics, just a difference in emphasis. In fact, he may even be to the right of Hillary at this point.

What's scary is that he's left us with no criteria to evaluate what actions he will take, who he will listen to, how he will go about deciding.

And Rightly So!

Right now I sure am missing by redneck hippie

Hillary Clinton.

But, I will have to say that since Hillary can't jump into the ring right now, it almost looks like Obama is embarrassed about unexplaining his explanations.

Or unclarifying his clarifications 'cause he has to take the 'kids' money and still be able to win.

This guy is a joke. Yep, that sound I hear is the entire McCain apparatus laughing maniacally.

The free exchange of ideas inevitably yields both heat and light.

That look by simpson316

was the typical "Oh [beep]! They caught me." look that every parent knows.

He's not ready for the big stage yet.

McCain for POTUS so the left can't ruin SCOTUS.

I will now quote Barack Obama (44 seconds in):

I would be a poor Commander in Chief
-Sen Barack Obama July 3, 2008

Finally something he and I agree on!

Some independent group would produce a campaign ad around that quote. And if the Obama campaign complained about being taken out of context, we would simply remind them of their misappropriation of the McCain "100 years in Iraq" statement for their ads a while back.

[I'm not serious here: the MSM would crucify anyone who did unto the Obamessiah what his campaign did unto McCain.]

And Rightly So!
