ObamaCare WILL Pass at least 5:4 in the Supreme Court

This is a simple, and most obvious conclusion.
The questioning yesterday was not defining that a mandate for
healthcare would be unconstitutional.
NOPE,
The questioning was to identify that a mandate on other issues,
Cars, Cell Phones, Food IS unconstitutional.

Add this to the expected outcome of today’s presentations of Severability,
which most likely will stand as All or Nothing, and you will find
the answer is clear.

The Supreme Justices will, as a majority, declare that, with respect
to Health Care, the mandate is allowable by The Constitution, and
ObamaCare will stand as is.
They will also present the opinion that in no other aspects of Governing
the minions of the U.S. of A., is The Government allowed to demand
entrance into commerce just because a person exists.

Valerie J. Knows Nothing About Economy

In a recent oration, V. Jarrett proposed that
“People Who Receive that Unemployment Check Go Out and Spend It and Help Stimulate the Economy”

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/valerie-jarrett-people-who-receive-unemployment-check-go-out-and-spend-it-and-help-stimulate-economy_631716.html

This is a totally absurd thought. Take this to a logical example. If a 3rd party, say a government, extorts a dollar from me, since I am a worker who own my own business. Let’s say I make pizza, and sell it for a dollar.
So the government takes a dollar from me and gives it to someone who is not working because, well, they aren’t working.
OK, so now that person spends it at my pizza shop to by a large cheese pizza.

According to V. Jarrett, that is stimulating the economy.
According to my accountant, I just sold a large cheese pizza for zero dollars.
My profit, zero. Which means that I must now either raise the cost of my pizza and risk going out of business
OR
I can just go out of business.
So now, instead of a pizza shop employing workers, accountants, energy suppliers, delivery trucks, and suppliers of raw materials,
I am on unemployment asking for that dollar to buy a pizza for a dollar.

And the people I employed and the suppliers all feel the pinch.

So to say that the theft of a dollar is stimulating is Ignorance in it’s most basic format.

Perhaps all government employees and elected officials should be compelled to read
‘Economics in One Lesson’. Originally written in the ’40s it is amazingly relevant today.

Can We Change the Speaker of the House

From CNS News:
“Boehner Won’t Rule Out ‘Balanced Budget Amendment’ That Permits Unlimited Federal Spending”

Is there any way, other than elections, to remove the “Speaker of the House”.
Not necessarily from office. Just that position.

Mr. Boehner is showing the country that he is not conservative and has no real desire to fix any problems.
He is demonstrating that he is a ‘Good old boy’, lifer, politician that is more concerned with keeping the status quot for the operations of the ever expanding U.S. Government over the needs of the country.

I am just wondering. Can we take Mr. Boehner and Mr. Kantor and put them both at the bottom of the list?

Florida Announces January Primary – HUH!?

So Florida has a primary in January.

Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina then soon follow. ALL vying for the right to declare that they are THE state that has chosen the next President.

I say they are jumping the gun. Buying the first distribution of IPad. We know now that the newer IPads are much better. Faster, cheaper, more capable. The difference here is that once the primary is over, you cannot chose again. After voting in January, what can you do when C. Christie or S. Palin or ‘your favorite Conservative goes here’ jumps into the race. What do you do. You chose the best of the worst. You are done. Completed the task. An now must live with the fact that you have chosen a lesser candidate than your “best choice”. In effect, you let me actually perform the selection.

This is rediculous. I have to believe that it is being pushed heavily by the Liberals to narrow the choices and give them more time to dig up dirt. This is a ploy against our better judgement. Not an aide for it. This is a plan to get a quick result for a difficult decision.

Watch the polls from day to day, from week to week, and from month to month. Does anyone here really believe that we, the Conservative or the true Republicans, has actually narrowed our search! We are vetting candidates day to day. We are finding their weaknesses and strengths. We need more time.

OK, put it this way, if you had 14 months to live, would you really chose to go in 3?

Our President is Not Aware That he is a GUEST in Congress?

Based on the atricle below, Mr. Obama is not aware of the fact that he is NOT allowed to just saunter into the House chambers without an appointment. It is rather uncouth of him to assume that he can just order Congress around as he does below. And that he only has 1/3 of the power. Not a larger 1/3, but exactly 1/3 of the governmental power.

And, this speech has been put off for at least 6 months. So obviously there is no hurry.

Sit down Mr. President, make a polite request and wait your turn. Sept. 8th is just fine for your antics and ‘Same-old, Same-old’ worn out speech about taxing the rich, tormenting business and taking jobs from the private sector only to give them to your friendly neighborhood Union Workers.

Yup, we heard it all before. And frankly, no one really cares to hear it again.

Boehner, It’s Time To Move On

In an interview with CBS News (RE: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/08/01/eveningnews/main20086598.shtml )

The question was put to J. Boehner:

“Pelley: You were unable to get your own caucus behind your bill a few days ago. Do you intend to remain Speaker of the House?”

His Answer:

“Boehner: I do. When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the white House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I’m pretty happy.”

WAIT Just One Minute. J. Boehner got 98 percent of what HE wanted. He only got about 10 percent of what WE wanted. And he works for us. I think from this answer alone, we can determine that Mr. Boehner should realize it is time for him to step down. We put him there through our votes last November. Our votes, by all accounts, were votes of UNSATISFACTION with the SOP of all of Government. We wanted fiscal responsibility. We wanted fixes to entitlements. We wanted restraints on the President’s spending. We wanted a muzzle on the check signature hand of Congress.

What we got is a deal to cut $100B a year for 10 years and a raise the the debt limit borrowing capacity of Congress for $2.8Trillion. That means that borrowing is 28 times larger than reductions.

THAT IS NOT WHAT WE WANTED!

Mr. Boehner, with all due respect, It IS time for you to step down.

Only In America

No, not the song from West Side Story.

Today we wake up to learn that the concrete workers union, which is working on the “Freedom Towers” in New York, are on strike. Apparently they believe that they should get a raise during these wonderfully fruitful fiscal times.

Ok, so we have come to expect that. The Unions, all of them, operate on the same rules as our President. Me, I, My.

But we also can discover that the “Ground Zero Mosque” is still moving forward. Still fund raising. Still working to sway city ordinance.

This county is doomed. We have the collective attention span of a 1 year old child. Our ability to focus on what is important or necessary lacks the maturity needed to sustain our beliefs and our country.

“Freedom Towers” on hold because of the selfish Unions and our apathy. “Ground Zero Mosque” in full swing because of our apathy.

Only In America.

U.S. Contingency Plan Gives Bondholders Priority

this is rather interesting.

When We The People took over a couple of Private auto manufacturers, the bond holders in that deal did not get priority treatment. They were left holding the bag. The President’s friends and funders got priority.

I wonder if ‘Bondholder’ is a secret word for ‘friend’ or ‘financier’?

Judges Make Laws?

According to the absolutely ignorant H. Reid,

“the Democrats need Goodwin Liu on the federal bench because “the court of appeals is where law is made, and we need the finest minds in the world for that.””

Funny, I thought it was their job to interpret/enforce the law.

I guess Congress has given up this Constitutional requirement, and handed it over to the courts. Perhaps Congress (H. Reid) has their hands full just trying to ‘Redistribute my Wealth’.
What a moron. One of only Constitutional reasons for having H. Reid, and he wants to give it away.

Perhaps we can, based on this new ‘redistribution’ of Congressional jobs, now get rid of H. Reid. That sounds nice.

What About the Baby Boomers?

Unemployment to 9%

Jobs Created (?) 244000

Baby Boomers retiring at the rate of 10000 per day, 300000 per month.

Isn’t that just a little bothersome? We are not hiring at a rate to replace boomers entering retirement.
